Chris Hacken worked as a gaffer on film sets from 2001 onwards. Over the years Chris often collaborated with director of photography Walter Vanden Ende, who is also coach at this year's Rutger Hauer Filmfactory. Chris has also worked with numerous other directors of photography: Peter Suschitzky, Alec Thomson, JF Robin, Willy Stassen, Laurent Dailland, Giorgos Arvanitis, Michel van Laar and Raoul Coutard
